Although this post is five days late, it’s still close enough to the New Year to talk about where I want The Auction Rebel to go in 2009.
1. Increase the blog’s RSS subscriber count to 1500. As of today it’s currently at 655.
2. Increase the blog’s unique visitors to 10,000 a month. It averages just over 3900.
3. Make better use of the video capabilities of the theme I’m using. I chose the current theme because of it’s video capabilities with the intention of providing both tutorials and video posts that would help readers increase their income. That got shoved on a back burner. In 2009 it will happen.
4. Add new content to the blog at least twice a week on Mondays and Thursdays.
5. Make at least one in-depth study of a profitable sub-niche on eBay available to readers each month.
6. Start talking about the 2009 Garage Sale Challenge earlier and provide participants with more information to help them reach their personal Challenge goals.

Something to talk about in posts if so desired is other ebay sellers that do what they do: sell, terrapeak data. Profile them, do email interviews, or just describe what you see as their positives or issues.
I read a book about someone who did this, forget the title, it was interesting to hear about other sellers and what they do. the author was not that ebay oriented, so someone who REALLY sells, can do it MUCH better.
Just a thought.
