There are many things you can do that have the potential to increase your profits on eBay. Here are six simple ones that will guarantee your bottom line increases.

1. Buy More Inventory - If you have been selling on eBay for very long you know what your sell-through-rate is. Increasing the number of items you have to sell will increase your sale resulting in more profits.

2. List More Items Each Week - One of the things I noticed during the 2008 Garage Sale Challenge was that some participants purchased a lot of inventory but never got around to listing it. Doubling or tripling the number of items you list each week will double or triple your profits.

3. Increase Your Sell-Through-Rate - Increasing your sell-through-rate by ten to twenty percent will increase your bottom line by ten to twenty percent. Set aside a set amount of time each week for research and invest in tools that will allow you to buy more desirable inventory and you will see your sell-through-rate increase dramatically.

4. Make Use Of eBay’s Gallery Picture Feature In Every Listing - One of the things that amazes me is the large percentage of sellers who don’t take advantage of eBay’s free “Gallery Image” option in their listings. Including a “Gallery Image” in every listing will guarantee more buyers who look at your listings leading to more sales resulting in increased profits.

5. Describe Your Items With Pictures - Many sellers loose money on every listing because they don’t include enough pictures. If it’s worth telling a potential buyer about, it’s worth including a picture of.

6. Simplify Your Terms Of Service - Many seller’s Terms Of Service read like judicial mandatory sentencing guidelines. Keep yours as simple, and buyer friendly, as possible and watch your profits increase.
