Over the last two years I’ve been watching a fairly new collectible sub-niche on eBay gradually grow. This is an off-shoot of the typewriter ribbon tin niche and the sub-niche is typewriter ribbon boxes. You can find these at antique shops/malls, antique shows, and flea markets. Most dealers aren’t yet aware of what these boxes are selling for on eBay which means there is currently a window of opportunity for those able to take advantage of it.

Got it an read it Gary … and I just happen to be headed out to an antiques/junque area today… will be sure to put a little focus on tin boxes… see if I can come up with a nice little typewriter ribbon box.

Hey Gary,
Some of us who have been following you since the good old COLDITEMS.com days had kind of a preview into the typewriter ribbon box niche a little while longer.
I’ve personally been picking them up for the last 6-8 mos. anytime I can find them for $5 or less (most have cost me less than $3), and to be honest had completely forgotten about my stash until you offered this free gift…LOL!!
