Selling Books By The Lot On eBay - The Outlanders Series

Following up on James Axler’s Deathlands series I talked about yesterday is the popular “Outlanders” series. This is another series published by Golden Eagle Books under the house name of James Axler.

The “Outlanders” series began with the publication of “Exile To Hell” in 1997. It’s popularity is likely at least partially due to the fact that is is basically a continuation of the “Deathlands” series that takes place 200 years later and attracts the same readership as that series.

To date this series consists of 47 books. Because of the similarity to the previous series the buying and selling guidelines for the “Outlanders” is pretty much the same as for the “Deathlands” series.

Be cautious of paying more than $.50 per book. Most of the titles in this series are also available on CD as audio books and these can be just as lucrative as the “Deathlands” audio books.

Similar to the other series by James Axler, when sold in lots of fifteen to twenty or more the books from this series regularly bring between $2 and $4 each.

Several of the books in the “Outlanders” series have covers done by illustrator Cliff Nielsen depicting strong, yet sexy, female characters. There is growing interest in Nielsen’s cover art and if lost of just the books with his covers should do well also if you put his name in your headline.

Also worth keeping in mind is that since both the “Outlanders” and the “Deathlands” series are by the same author, have quite similar story-lines, and appeal to the same basic audience, lots containing titles from both series will usually do just as well as those containing only one series.
